A new "exterior room"...or a loooong hot weekend...

So we finally chose what kind of patio we wanted, what stone to buy, what design, what size and where to put it...

Here are various steps of the hard work we did over 5 days (reversed); we're very happy with the results. Final result to be shown soon.

The first steps on Saturday...a lot of trouble to do those 2 colors, with various designs... but it looks pretty good for beginners! ;)

The big hole dug by a pro... couldn't imagine how we would manage to do that ourselves (wise choice!). That was June 30. Took the kid the whole day to dig 18 inches deep and prepare the ground.

Unfinished basement (we have to install our own laminate floor so we can dance and train there! hehe) with its gas fireplace (the tiles are the same than those in the entrance)

Sous-sol non fini (on doit installer notre plancher flottant pour danser et nous entraîner) avec un foyer au gaz (les tuiles sont les memes que dans l'entrée)
